Experience our Oahu birding tours in Turtle Bay Resort’s 7 miles of wilderness trails!

Your guide will stop at 9 ahu markers to kūkākūkā (talk story) about the endangered animals, birds, WWII history and Hawaiian culture specific to Turtle Bay. Between the stops you will travel through the ocean forest, along the shoreline and through the Punaho’olapa wetlands to look for over 70 species of birds including 4 endemic and 5 endangered species with provided binoculars and bird ID card.

The birding Oahu tour will finish up in Kawela Bay visiting the WWII pill box, the “Lost” banyan tree, the mysterious magic bus and finally stop at Turtle Bay Resort’s farmlands to sample either a local fresh or fried apple banana.
